Why Coinvoice exists

Freelancers and sole traders deserve invoicing software that respects their time and their wallet. Most tools on the market either charge too much for basic features, bury essential functionality behind premium tiers, or force you into full accounting suites when all you need is to send an invoice and get paid. Coinvoice was created to fix that.

We built Coinvoice because we got tired of overpaying for software that did far more than we needed, while somehow still making the simple things complicated. We wanted a tool that let you create a professional invoice in under a minute, send it with a payment link, and move on with your day.

What we do

Coinvoice is a focused invoicing platform. You can create and send unlimited invoices, track your time and expenses, accept online payments through Stripe, and generate tax-ready reports, all from one clean interface. We also offer AI-powered features like voice-to-invoice and photo receipt scanning that save you time on repetitive admin tasks.

Our free plan covers the essentials for up to five active clients with no time limit, and our Pro plan unlocks unlimited clients, recurring invoices, and advanced reports for a flat monthly fee. We never take a cut of your payments, and we never charge per invoice.

Our principles

Transparent pricing is central to everything we do. We publish our prices openly, we do not add hidden fees to payment processing, and we will always offer a meaningful free tier. If we ever change our pricing, existing subscribers are grandfathered at their current rate for at least twelve months.

Your data belongs to you. Every Coinvoice user, free or paid, can export their invoices, clients, and expenses at any time. If you choose to leave, you take everything with you. We do not sell your data and we do not show adverts.

Built for the UK and beyond

Coinvoice was designed with UK freelancers in mind, with GBP as the default currency, VAT support baked in, and compliance with HMRC invoicing requirements. That said, we also support USD, EUR, and other currencies, so freelancers around the world can use Coinvoice comfortably. Whether you are a graphic designer in Manchester or a consultant in Chicago, the experience is the same: fast, simple, and honest.
